Hello Everyone and welcome to my Anaconda snakes portal The website of the anacondas. The motive behind this website is to educate the world about the Huge Anaconda Snakes. The snakes became widely popular only after the release of the 1997 movie – Anaconda. Since then, the popularity of anacondas are on it’s ever time high peak. The main reason for it’s popularity is because of the scary fierce nature of the movie, which portrays the story of a huge gigantic anaconda eating people and haunting their lives. So the movie has led to a huge misconception that anacondas are man eaters and should be feared.

The fact is that all snakes are to be feared, not just the anaconda snakes. But what makes the anacondas exceptional is it’s massive bulky body. Anacondas belong to the boa family of snakes, the word boa means constrictor, as these variety of snakes, kill their prey by coiling around their body and constricting them causing them to suffocate, bleed internally with crumbling bones and finally die, which then are swallowed by these snakes.

So is the story of Anaconda eating people, really true?

No one can say that, anaconda snakes won’t eat a human. Anacondas eat whatever their mouth and stomach can swallow and hold. So if a human of the right size is presented before an anaconda snake at the right time and in a comfortable position, they sure will get a taste of you.

But it isn’t an indication that Anacondas are man eaters. No one can label hem as man eating anacondas. There are a many people around the world who are having anacondas as their pet. Anaconda snakes can be pets? Yea why not…
